Approve your final selections

Before anything is printed, your design selections will be finalized and approved. This step helps make sure the designs, quantities, theme, and details are correct.

We print and ship the transfers

After approval, your DTF heat transfers are professionally printed and shipped directly to you.

What you receive with the shipped transfer service

This service includes curated design support and printed transfers shipped to your door. The exact number of transfers depends on the package or quantity you select, but the purpose stays the same: make your onesie bar easier to plan and prettier to display.

Step 2: Order the Essentials

What you will need to provide for your onesie bar

The shipped transfers are the main design piece, but you will still need a few supplies to create the full activity station.

You will need:

  • Blank onesies

  • Blank bibs, if you want guests to decorate bibs too

  • A heat press

  • Heat-safe surface or pressing area

  • Scissors, if transfers need to be trimmed

  • Pressing sheets or parchment-style protective sheets, depending on your setup

  • A table for supplies and finished pieces

  • Optional signs, baskets, clips, hangers, or display pieces

The most common question is whether a heat press is required.

Yes, you will need your own heat press for the event. Heat presses are available to purchase for $20 through our amazon storefront.

If you are setting up a onesie bar at home or at a venue, make sure there is a safe outlet nearby and enough room for the press to sit on a stable surface.

The cute table decor shown in our sample setups is optional and can also be purchased through our amazon storefront. You can keep the display simple, or you can add coordinating details to create a full shower-ready look.

Budget Friendly Essentials

A good Heat Press

These come in different shapes and sizes, but we highly recommend purchasing a heat press to allow for even temperature distribution when pressing designs.

You could simply display cut out Dtf designs on your table, but putting them in a binder allows guests to feel the weight of the options and offers a more elevated experience.

Use this to display blank onesies and allow guests to choose from mulitple colors, styles, or sizes.

Similar to the clothes rack, this table rod is larger to showcase 7-10 finished onesies pressed freshly for the baby! Use twine and clothespins to attached finished onesies and write a sweet note for the baby.

For best application, we recommend using onesies that are made of 100% cotton. These gerber ones are a great option and come in a variety colors!

Coordinating signs are especially helpful for a onesie decorating station because they explain the activity without needing someone to stand at the table the whole time.

A simple sign can tell guests to choose a onesie, pick a design, and bring it to the pressing area. That keeps the activity moving and helps guests feel comfortable joining in.

How to set up a DIY onesie bar at your event

A good onesie bar does not need to be complicated. The best setups are easy for guests to understand and simple for the host to manage.

Think of the station in three parts: blanks, designs, and pressing.

Set out the blank items first

Place onesies and bibs where guests can easily grab them. It helps to organize onesies by size so guests can spread out the finished pieces across different ages.

For example, you might include:

  • Newborn

  • 0 to 3 months

  • 3 to 6 months

  • 6 to 9 months

  • 9 to 12 months

This gives the parents more than just newborn outfits. Babies grow quickly, so a range of sizes makes the finished gifts more useful.

Display the transfers clearly

Lay the transfers flat or place them in small trays so guests can browse. If you have several designs, group them by style, color, or theme.

For a softer, more styled look, use baskets, trays, or small stands. For a simple setup, a clean table and clear signage work beautifully.

Create a safe pressing area

The heat press should sit on a sturdy table away from drink stations, food trays, and small children. If guests will press their own items, place simple instructions nearby. If you prefer to handle the pressing yourself, guests can design their onesie or bib and leave it in a designated area.

A host-managed pressing station often works best for busy showers. Guests still get to choose and place the design, while one person makes sure each item is pressed correctly.
